Created by educators + parents

Built by teachers from leading schools, including senior-secondary and extension specialists, alongside business leaders who are also parents.

Why FutureEdge is different

School teaches the curriculum. FutureEdge focuses on the judgement around it.

Rare access

Borrow the experience before you need it.

FutureEdge makes it easy to hear from people students would rarely get to question this openly. You hear more than one perspective, not a single formula.

What you actually get

A live session is only useful if it changes what happens next.

FutureEdge helps students waste less time learning obvious lessons the hard way. It also gives parents a clearer idea of what actually helps.

Get the useful lessons earlier.

Tap a question

The questions students usually ask behind closed doors.

FutureEdge is built to get practical answers to the questions students often do not ask publicly.

Example answer themes
After a bad assessment, the best students usually reset fast.

Skip the polished story. We want the actual moves: what they changed next, what they stopped doing and how they got perspective back.

The people behind it

More than one voice. More useful patterns.

These are the people we are featuring for now, not the whole FutureEdge network. More voices will be revealed, with an even wider group contributing interviews, ideas and practical guidance across the guides, resources and live events.

Questions / answered

FAQ

What exactly is FutureEdge ATAR Success?

It is a live online session in Q1 2027 plus a resource guide for students and parents across Australia. Students hear directly from recent top ATAR performers alongside leading educators, principals, coaches and specialists about the parts of senior school that are rarely taught explicitly. The resource guide captures the strongest lessons so the value continues after the session ends.

Why did FutureEdge come to be?

FutureEdge started with a simple frustration: adults actively seek out experts, mentors and outside advice when the stakes are high, yet teenagers are often expected to work their way through senior school with far less access. It is being built by teachers from leading schools, including senior-secondary and extension-learning specialists, alongside business leaders. Everyone behind FutureEdge is also a parent who wished something like this existed for their own children.

Are the people shown here the full line-up?

No. These are seven confirmed voices already helping shape the first FutureEdge edition. The wider group will include more recent high performers, parents, school leaders, senior-secondary and extension specialists, coaches and other useful voices. Some people will contribute to the resources, some will join the live online session, and some will do both. More names will be announced as they are confirmed.

Is the session online?

Yes. The first ATAR Success session will be live online in Q1 2027. That is deliberate: students should not need to attend a particular school, live in a particular suburb or have the right network to get access to the people FutureEdge brings together.

When is it?

The exact date is still being finalised, but the first session is planned for Q1 2027. People on the priority list will be the first to receive the confirmed date and access details.

What makes this different from tutoring or a school talk?

FutureEdge is not subject tutoring and it is not a motivational assembly. The value is direct access to carefully chosen people, with practical and sometimes uncomfortable questions. FutureEdge then turns the strongest patterns into resources students and parents can actually use.

Does FutureEdge help with ATAR study strategies, assessments and exam preparation?

Yes, but it is not subject tutoring. FutureEdge focuses on the practical judgement around senior-school study: how strong students structure revision, prepare for assessments and final exams, respond to poor results, manage pressure, protect motivation and decide what is actually worth their time. The aim is to give students useful approaches to test rather than prescribe one “perfect” study method.

Is this only for students chasing a 99+ ATAR?

No. Exceptional performers are useful to study because their decisions, habits and mistakes expose useful patterns. The point is not that every student should copy their result. FutureEdge is about helping students make smarter choices toward their own version of success.

What are the resources?

They are the practical companion to the live online session: lessons from a broader group of voices, plus student and parent guidance, prompts and tools designed to remain useful across the senior years. The final format will be revealed as the first edition is completed.

Is FutureEdge a one-off?

No. ATAR Success is part of a rolling FutureEdge series. Future sessions and resources will be announced as they are ready. The core idea stays the same: put young people in front of people worth learning from, ask honest questions and turn the best answers into something useful.
